Elevate is a women’s-only strength training gym in Warrnambool, created to help women feel strong, supported and confident through every stage of life.

Whether you are new to strength training, returning after time away, navigating motherhood, or ready to prioritise your health again, you are welcome here.

At Elevate, we believe strength training is for every woman — at every age and every stage of life.

Our approach is about more than workouts. It is about creating a space where women feel supported, seen and empowered while building strength for life.

We focus on strength, muscle, resilience and long-term health — not quick fixes or extremes. As women age, maintaining muscle mass, bone density and overall function becomes essential for quality of life, independence and wellbeing.

At Elevate, it is not just about how you look.

It is about how you feel, how you move and how you live.

Meet your coaches

After having four babies in five years, Ash found herself feeling completely lost.

Following the birth of her last child, she had gained weight, faced mental health challenges, was doing very little exercise and had never stepped foot in a gym before.

In early 2024, Ash came across Elevate’s 12-week winter program and decided to reach out. Since then, she has consistently trained, invested in nutrition coaching and discovered a deep passion for health and fitness.
Ash is passionate about helping women, whether postpartum or at any stage of life, find their strength, confidence and sense of self.
When she is not training or coaching, Ash is spending time with her husband, Xavier, and their three children, Ovie, Lola and Remy. She also works part-time as an Executive Assistant.

I’m incredibly passionate about all things health and fitness. My journey began in gymnastics from a young age, which sparked my love for movement, stretching and staying flexible.

After losing my drive for fitness during high school and beyond, I started getting back into working out and running regularly after Covid in 2022. But I was doing it all with minimal knowledge and a mindset focused more on “working harder and eating less” than truly looking after my body.

In March 2023, I reached out to Laura at Elevate and chose to invest in myself. Since then, I’ve learned how to strength train with proper technique, fuel my body through balanced nutrition, and build lasting confidence in both my body and mind.

Now, I want to help other women feel confident in themselves — inside and outside the gym — and show that living a healthy lifestyle doesn’t have to feel complicated or overwhelming.

I grew up working on my family’s dairy farm, which taught me the value of hard work from an early age. In my late teens, I faced tough mental and physical health challenges that led to significant weight gain. I didn’t feel like myself anymore, and I knew something had to change.

In 2019, I made the decision to take back control of my health. Over the next four years, I lost 50kg — but more importantly, I found myself again.

Along the way, I discovered a love for weight training, and in 2023, I began coaching with Laura. With her guidance, I learned how to train with purpose, fuel my body properly, and build a lifestyle that supports long-term health and happiness.

Now, I’m passionate about helping other women prioritise their health, build sustainable habits, and feel strong, confident and independent for years to come.

Growing up with brothers, I’ve always been active and loved playing every sport. Now, since becoming a mum, it’s about moving for my mental health for me. I’m passionate about encouraging women and mums to prioritise themselves, giving themselves that time and space to grow, however that looks for them.

I’m a mum of two busy boys and I love being involved in the community in my work with Lifeline, coaching junior netball and now as part of the beautiful Elevate community.

I came across Elevate through a friend and since starting training here I have learnt so much more about form, technique and the why behind it all. I’m constantly learning from the intelligent women around me.
